Once Upon A Time...

In 1971, a young girl called Catherine began working in a local florist. As the years passed by, she developed her own individual style by capturing the natural beauty of the flowers she used.  This worked wonderfully well with the fabulous vintage trends that became so very popular. Although she loves anything to do with flowers, Catherine's passion has always been for bridal work and wedding flowers.

“I believe that flowers are absolutely the most important accessory. It is essential to make the right choices, and so often brides feel very daunted by the task.  Because we are not based in a shop, we can dedicate our time to each bride, often spending up to 2 hours to chat through all of the different design options, themes, colours along with the choice of seasonal flowers available.

I have a small team of florists who join me in the workshop to beaver away, surrounded by masses of wonderful flowers with all of the gorgeous smells the different seasons bring.

As we have grown so quickly over the recent years, we will be moving into new premises in January 2015. We have 2 fabulous show room/studios where you will be inspired during your consultation, as each studio will be packed to the brim with beautiful creations and designs for you to see up close

We love contributing to someone's special day, designing and creating the all important finishing touches that the flowers provide. We get just as excited as the brides do when exploring original designs to make this wedding as perfect as the last one. As the ideas begin to develop, there's always a great excitement as the bride begins to imagine just how spectacular everything is going to look for her wedding day.

If you're looking for job satisfaction, not much compares to seeing a brides face light up (and sometimes even tears!) when she sees her flowers for the first time and her wedding day dreams are all coming true.”

What more can i say... we just love it!

Catherine
